PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY // BOTHELL WASHINGTON

My 76 year old grandmother came to visit from Kansas. Do you know, I don't have a single image of her? Sure, I have one or two digitals of her with my kids, or with other family members from Christmas or birthdays. But, I don't have a portrait of just her. I don't have anything tangible to show my children.

Because I really want people to start having beautiful and tangible images, I will be incorporating prints into my packages in January 2017. I am really excited to start this journey. You will still be able to have digitals with your package, please inquire for full details.

THE SET UP

The set up here was far from anything glamorous. These pictures are all taken with natural light and a simple board that I painted for the backdrop. Most of these images were taken at an aperture of f/2.0 or wider, ISO 250, and 1/200 sec. I shot these with my Sigma Art 35mm for Canon. If you are a photographer and haven't looked into the Sigma Art series, you need to PRONTO! These lenses are amazing and sharp as a tack! Find more information about these lenses right here.
